Jerry and Jenny purchased the land in 1988, then had the lodge constructed. Interior work was completed by Jerry with help from family. Jenny was responsible for both the inside decor and the exterior's landscaping. In 1994, the Krieg's decided the lodge needed additional space for family quarters, which led to it's current square footage of 8,600 sq. ft. The lodge continued to take from every year with additions of the gazebo, wooden boardwalks and a pond. All these changes have enhanced the lodge's relaxing atmosphere. Add to all of these features the home cooking in the morning and you will set for another day enjoying your "up north" experience.
