Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful place to stay. I agree with all the comments written by the last thirty or so grateful guests. We’ve traveled a lot, stayed in many B&Bs – But your home is at the very top of our list! The warmth of the pine certainly reflects the warmth of the hosts- you have created a delightful ambience hear. We just wish we could stay longer to savor all those reading nooks inside and out!

You figure out a destination then start writing & calling for brochures, you sift through all the information you receive and make your choice. Vacation time finally arrives and while you’re driving you say a silent prayer that the places you’ve chosen are half as nice as their advertisement.  And then you arrive at the Pinewood Lodge whose ads can’t begin to do justice to their rooms and view and beach and the graciousness of Jerry and Jenny. A dream come true – log house on Lake Superior, scenic, relaxing, comfortable, wonderful hospitality – delicious breakfast. Even enjoyed the cold AM dip in Lake Superior.
